i don’t know really what kind of wood this is,but is pertty neat.smells like walnut ,makes your nose itch when you work it. i’m looking in to it . i may post some pics.ofthe branch later.

What is the weight ratio to what you know walnut to be ? Looks like it could possibly be Walnut’s long suffering light weight cousin , butternut ? Yes I have worked butternut that has a good deal of figure and movement ???
