Here are more boxes I’ve made: a little carving.

Designs for 1,2&3 taken from an ArtNoveau book which I can no longer find;
apologies about not giving being able to give credit.

Pic 1 box is huon pine & kwila.
Pic 2 box is cedar.
Pic 3 box is huon. No more huon, it now gives me hayfever.

Pic 4 has 3 that I did almost 10 years ago, not long after retiring.
I am only proud of the 3rd, but the other 2 have a story.
The flower was the inside of my first bandsaw box, a 5-pointed star.
5 rounded lobes: doesnt that just say “flower” to everyone ?
I didnt own any chisels at that time, but this got me interested in carving.
The six-sided celtic knot: maybe a chisel or 2, but not much
idea how to use them.
The 4-sided celtic knot was an experiment with textured background. It’s in
the kitchen, to hold rubber bands.
