Not sure if anyone has tried building these locks but I was given this book authored by Tim Detweiler. He has put five locks to build in this book and they are very interesting to build and challenging also. They have to be just right to work proper. If building small projects is something you like to do I really recommend trying these locks.

Very Cool! I tried building one from Steve Goods Scrollsaw Workshop, so far it’s kicking my butt, but eventually I’ll beat it into submission.

What, locks and no bagels? As Dave said, you have locked in on these and they are good looking!

I have a locksmith friend, who had asked me on several occasions, to make some wooden locks but I never did. This DOES sound like a fun project an maybe now I will try one … or two … or …!

They can be a little time consuming MrHart but they are fun to build and see them working in the end. With a little practice a person could get faster at making them.
