I was over helping my father-in-law replace a light fixture last night and decided to take some pictures of a coffee table he has that I built several years ago. After having our cheap-o coffee table disintegrate into a pile of kindling while I was standing on it to turn on the fan, I decided to build a replacement.

This project was built entirely from home center fence posts and some pre-made pine panels. If I remember correctly, the only tools I had at the time were a circular saw, drill and jig saw. Shortly after this project we moved to CO and ended up buying an old house that consumed most of my spare time for well over a year. Last fall the woodworking bug started to reared its head again….
