We’re gearing up for a gun show in June – so we decided we needed a few more example gun stock carvings. i really need to go through and photograph more of the previous projects too. We laid this out last week and my father carved them. A few more pending to carve … and if all the wall hangers haven’t been destroyed since people are turning them in for these ridiculous gun buy back programs I may pickup another batch to carve at the show!

Nice work. Nice to see some stock carving that didn’t come out of a canned program!

Nice work. Good thing this wasn’t a school wood shop class project. You’d of been expelled by now. National news! Terrorism! Anarchy!

But seriously, very nice carving.

Very nice! That takes more patience than I have. Good luck on getting some orders at the gun show.

Just what I needed to see. A feller from work brought in a gun stock that is cracked down the middle and asked me to make him a new one. I haven’t found any good wood yet…. but when I do, I had thought to ‘add in’ a little carving or two since it is for his young son.

I really like the way these look and it has given me some ideas. Nice work!

Great work, love the eagle. Now I’ll have to go look at my crappy plain ones.
