Since it seems hard to get any respect on this site unless you make an endgrain cutting board, there it is.
Made from shop scrap, Cherry, hard maple and a 3/4” piece of very hard african mahogany.. All put together in 4.5 hr. in the Houston sun and heat. From start to finish.
So far I have put 2 coats of mineral oil the on the thing.

Nicely done. Welcome to the end-grain club. We’ll teach you the secret handshake tomorrow.

Good looking board and you sure work fast. Wow, under 5 hours I wish I was able, 5 days is quick for me.

Hey Larry nice to see you, and thanks for all your wisdom and help with end grain builds.
