Chisel Box

I really wanted a chisel box for my favorite chisels. I found this design in Shop Notes issue no. 37. I like the way the design allows for storage as a wall unit, or open on the wall or in an upright position, and finally as an open case on the workbench. The key is the little turn keys which allow the cover to be opened or used as a stop in two positions. Was a lot of fun to make and pick thru my scrap bins to find pieces of walnut and enough oak, cherry for the case. This was a really rainny day project for fun and use. Try it, you’ll like it.

I love this. It is good storage when not in use and handy when working.

That is sweet. I have the same set of Chisels, but they certainly not stored as neatly as your. I like it.
