I wanted to make up some key racks for friends. Tried using 1/8” ply for the backing. Didn’t like the ply edge behind the pic. Got some acrylic at Lowes. Two bucks at Lowes, Optix brand, 1/16” thick. Scrolls fantastic! No melting because of blade heat. Printed copy of pics on a laser printer. Used permanent spray adhesive to attach to acrylic, then scrolled. First pic is my old bike. Second pic has a friends ‘41 Willys, and 2 more projects. Third is for an old riding buddy. The 4th is the back of the 3rd. That throttle cable is 1/16” wide and thick. No breaks or cracks! Used Flying Dutchman #1, and #3 Ultra reverse blades. Racks are 6” long, and 1” wide. Routered edges, and used a keyhole bit so racks can be hung to the wall. Thanks for looking! Any questions, I’ll be glad to help!
