A couple more bowls that I used my Ringmaster and Lathe to complete. I cut the rings using the Ringmaster, glued up the bowls, then mounted them onto my Lathe to turn them smooth and apply the finish. I used Hut Friction Polish for both bowls. The bowl on the left is from a piece of curly cherry, 5 1/2” x 5 1/2” square. The bowl on the right is from a piece of Padauk that was 6” x 6” square.

Nice job on both. These “turned” out really well.

Great bowls. Is the small circle in the bottom a result of the ringmaster or your lathe?

Karson – yes, the wood is mounted to the Ringmaster by drilling a 1/2” hole in the center of the piece. Unfortunately you have to use a 1/2” plug to close the hole. I am thinking about turning the bottom piece on the lathe, thus eliminating the need for a plug.

Bowls turned out really great. Might have to give the Ringmaster a second look.

Both bowls are very pretty. Great choice of woods and finish. Good job!
