This is an Oak Hallway Table I made from a plan in a magazine 3 or 4 years ago. I stained it at the time but never go around to putting any sort of protective sealer coat on it. The top had some marks in it from the fountain and from having drinks left on it so this weekend at my Wife’s urging I refinished the top by scrapping it down with a card scraper and re staining it. I then sealed it with a few coats of clear Shellac!

I have to say the Shellac makes all the difference The table looks much sharper now!
