May, 2013—This is a glue-up of narra with oak on the back. Knobs are walnut, turned on the lathe. This was my first time working with narra. It is easy to work with and smells good too!

Finish is spray satin lacquer.

Never had any of that wood but it looks very nice with some cool grain. Looks like a tiny BS box next to that pop can.

Very nice work. It looks like a really fun project.

A nice one Art, May I suggest and not meaning to step on toes, rounding those edges a bit more on this box and get those drawers centered in the cavities would really add more to this nice piece, you did good on your entry points can barely see them if at all.

Nice job on this BS box Art. I like that your entry kerf is going with the grain. It really helps it to blend in with the piece and makes it much less noticeable.

Lovely and cute box! Great choice of woods, has nice patterns and the wooden knobs completed it.
