This is my first project in quite a while. I have seen these remake of the old timey ice cooler box online and figured I’ll give it try and in time for my little 3 year old birthday party. I had some scrap tongue and groove and few other pieces of scrap wood. I also had an thick Styrofoam cooler.
Use one coat of stain and one coat of urethane.
When our guest came for the party, one asked if I had purchased it from a antique shop! I was honored and said no I made this in two days. Now she wants one!
Thanks for looking,
David

Great job on that cool looking cooler. Like the retro sign, goes really well with the antique look.
