I have an order for a cutting board of my design so I thought why not try the maple plywood. It has food safe glue and I use it for everything else. I added in some strips of walnut and solid maple on the ends. It has curved ends and hand hold reliefs on the bottom side. The ends are doweled and glued on.

It is 1” x 8” x 13.5”. I was not thinking…......it is a little too long for the golden rectangle.

It is finished with Behandla salad bowl finish.

Your cutting board looks very nice Jim. Modern and stylish. More the kind of style my wife likes. She can’t take the patterned ones, she says they drive her nuts.

Jim great board
The rules are for those who cant judge for themselves
You have the scale to enhance the look I think your eye does a far better job
I really like plywood and I’m sculpting a seat top with it.
I think you have shown me a better looking way around my seat design, I’ll keep
you posted on that one Jim and you can let me know what you think.

Again you have amazed us with another plywood project. Great job. It must take many coats of salad finish to complete it.
