My version of WWMM’s Herb Garden plan, I wanted something to go on each side of the windows in my garage, that side of my house get absolutely pounded by the sun (as you can see by the condition of the siding/window trim). I was too cheap to pay $22 for the sheet of lattice at Home Depot, so I improvised my own, and I like it! And I had to make one of them with one leg about 6” longer because of how the ground slopes, I figure I can always even them up later if I need to move them.

Made with pallet wood and 2×6’s. Finished with one heavy coat of Cabot Colonial Maple stain and one heavy coat of spar urethane.

Going to fill them up with herbs and veggies this weekend, there’s been this super bright thing in the skies of Portland for the last few days and they say it will stay for a few more, so I better take advantage now!

Here is the link to WWMM’s Herb Garden which is where I got this idea from:

I’m not really sure what an herb is but I like your project.
Some of my best friends are cheap.

Nice work, and … with pallet wood. Fantastic, the recycling lives.

Nice version. I have been wanting to make one of these since I saw the video but can’t find any takers.

Pretty and functional design and use of pallets. They’re great add ons especially with grown herbs and plants. Well done!
