I took some snaps of a few different trucks, side on, front etc. Then started building up a sketchup model. Then took this, found a heap of scrap timber I have lying around, and started building. This is the result. :)

Each piece has been individually cut from bigger timber, the wheels and fuel tank are lathed, and the trailer sides are made from 3 ply.

Very nice work!! Im a truck driver and Kenworth is my fav! Great job your very talented!

You built your prime mover and trailer for sketches you did from photos you took…..WOW…that’s on special gift and the talent to make it look so good, well done indeed.

Cheers guys. Yeah mate, take/get photos, then sketch them into a scale, and break it down into parts. build each part and put it together. :)

Fantastic and creative use of scraps! Every detail of the awesome truck is well crafted and executed, shows great craftsmanship.
