This was my first paid job. Made me a bit nervous and challenged my confidence….got it almost done then she asked…..um, could I get my name on it too? This was after all the lines were measured….over all she liked it and on her way out another guy saw it and placed an order ;)

Great project. Can you let us know the angle of the grooves for the coins to sit in?
I’d like to try making one for my military friends.

Thanks! The angle of the dado is 8 degrees, I will have to recheck the depth but I think around 1/4” sounds right….I didnt check it with a ruler I just made some test cuts and used a coin i had to see if if looked okay.
