This is another leftover piece of a gunstock blank that I got from a stockmaker friend.
I think that this one is black walnut.
Approximately 8”x 2.5”
Finish is Deft spray lacquer.
Turned on my Jet 10” lathe using EWT carbide tools.

-- I love the smell of Home Depot in the morning, it smells like.......carpentry. Bake, Bar Lazy U Woodworks, Lehi,UT.

Love walnut and yours is just gorgeous. Great shape and the finish is flawless.
