My son turned 5 in March and when I asked him what he wanted his answer was “real tools”. I thought it would be nice if he had box to put them in, here is what I came up with. Him name is on the front and the year is on the bottom. Our last name is on one of the sides but the pictures don’t show it. It’s the internet and I’m paranoid, give me a break ;-)

The wood is Cherry and Walnut. No finish yet. I’m not sure what I want to use. Maybe just wax?

The size is about 6” x 15”.

Thanks for looking.

Very cool design and nicely build too. Your son will probably keep it forever.

Sweet design Chuck… I agree with Mike, bet your son will keep that forever.

This is the 2nd time I’ve looked at this very cool tool box.

The Greene and Greene style is one of my favorites. I love the eased edges and the shape of the handle.

Nice job.

Very nice design, I wish I saw this one before I made one for my son.
