This is a frame I made for an old photo of my wife’s parents. The photo has just been sitting on her nightstand for a while now and I figured it was time to give it a good home. I looked at a bunch of different frames and pulled together the elements I liked best.
Overall size is about 5 1/2” by 5 1/2”. I used cyanoacrylate glue so I wouldn’t have to screw around trying to clamp little pieces with weird angles. Material is red oak. Finished with General Finishes Medium Brown stain and some clear shellac.

I like the arc detail on the instep of the stiles. This is a nice looking frame!

I like how you have taken many different frame structures and made one, an original for sure!
