This was my first undertaking as a wood worker…my wife had a table and chairs that she had as a baby replicated…so I did it off of what she could remember.
Cool thing is, when my grandfather passed away he willed me his tools that I used to work with him as a child…so I was able to make my son a table and chairs (out of red oak) with my grandfathers tools.
Hope it will be around for a long time!

I like the chairs basic design. I have been wanting to do some chairs but thought they are too complex. This however might work. Thanks for sharing. Very nice…
