This was my first undertaking as a wood worker…my wife had a table and chairs that she had as a baby replicated…so I did it off of what she could remember.
Cool thing is, when my grandfather passed away he willed me his tools that I used to work with him as a child…so I was able to make my son a table and chairs (out of red oak) with my grandfathers tools.
Hope it will be around for a long time!
Thanks for looking guys
Great site!

Nice table and chairs! A future family heirloom made with past family heirlooms!

-- Tom Finnigan - Measures? We don't need no stinking measures! - Hmm, maybe thats why my project pieces don't fit.

I like the chairs basic design. I have been wanting to do some chairs but thought they are too complex. This however might work. Thanks for sharing. Very nice…
