Banana stand made from pieces of select pine. I cut a dado in the base to accept the arm, rounded the edges with a 1/4” radius roundover bit, and finished it with a walnut stain and 2 coats of polyurethane.

This is my first one I have ever made, it took me awhile to figure out how to attach the arm to the base, I thought about using dowels but a dado seemed like it would be stronger. I didn’t use any plans for this, I just came up with ideas as I built it.

Forgot to say, I attached the arm with 1 1/4” screws.

Thanks for all the nice comments!

I’ve never seen one of these but it makes a nice project. Nice work.
