Made from reclaimed wooden toolbox. This is a simple project made from a dilapidated and falling-apart old wooden toolbox. I repaired and reinforced the box with new hardware, sanded it, applied a homemade stain made from vinegar & steel wool (for the rust/oxidation) then sealed in paste wax. The Martin Guitar logo on the box is made from little coasters that Martin gives away at trade shows, music festivals, etc. They are the soundholes cut out from Martin guitars. I sanded the coaster down and applied black shoe polish and the handmade stain described above to make the logo stand out and look weathered.

Wow! It looks good and new, with lots of character. Great restoration on that cool tool box.
