At a woodworking class several years ago the instructor asked us to design a table that had more curves then straight lines. Just for fun I I created this table design. Then at a demonstration, I saw Stephen Proctor create a cove in a board by running the board over the table saw blade at an angle. I decided to tie these two experiences together and create a table that had multiple curves. It is hard to see in these pictures but the skirt is coved.
This is probably the first project I did, not because I had a need, but because I was inspired.
