An administrator, at the school where I taught, is leaving for another position. When I asked- “would you ever consider returning here, if a position opened?” The response was-

So, I made this little parting gift.

Liberated the idea from an automata site several years ago. It is sort of a trial and error build as there were no plans.

Very nice departing gift and one I am sure he will always have a smile for whenever he looks at it and tells the “story” that goes along with it.

That being said, great parting gift.
