Here’s a couple accent lamps.
One of spalted Maple, the other (below) is a piece of recently cutback Crab-apple, had some nice colors.
Finished the Maple one with, Wipe on Poly,— Crab-apple finished with Mineral oil & Beeswax.

very nice nick….I made a lot of stuff on my craftsman lathe…kinda miss it some days.

good looking lamps nick. How did you bore the hole for the wire?

Thanks Guys,
Don, after I take it of the lathe I drill from each end on drill press with a 5/16” spade bit as deep as I can.
Then I have a 16” long by 1/4” bit to reach all the way through with.

Fantastic lamps! The woods are gorgeous and like the shapes, looks really solid. It’ll hold the whole thing. Great job!
