This is a very small box call, sort of a short range “closer” call.
The box is made from cherry with sapele sides, the lid is hard maple and padauk.
Made entirely from scraps from other projects.
Finish is spray lacquer.
The size was determined by the length of the sapele scraps. I built it more as a toy and novelty for practice than anything else. Although not really loud this is by far my best sounding call yet, as well as the best looking.
It is about 11/4” x 7” it fits real nice in your shirt pocket.
