Cherry Burl Bangle with Turquoise inlay. I really like the color contrast between the Cherry Burl and the Turquoise. Finished with wipe on poly.

Pretty cherry burl bangle and the turquoise inlay created a great accent. Well done!

Hey John, This is pretty cool and consequently what I want to tackle next; turquoise inlay… or even raw diamond or abalone/mother of pearl. How did you to the inlay? I have watches a few you tubes on the process which don’t seem too hard but I’m wondering if you did the same and have perfected it at all or have any tips.

JR – I used Inlace for this, I like it the best out of all of the other products I have tried. Inlace will not shrink, which is a big plus. I purchase it at woodturnerscatalog.com.
It is a little tricky to place it on a round objects, but it sets up fairly quickly. I apply it and keep rotating the piece in my hand slowly.
I am going to try it on a Bangle core and a Ring core this weekend, well see how it turns out!
I will PM you a picture when complete, as I will not post it on here, as it will have no wood in it.
