This 2 set of end tables was constructed in 1974 and is made of solid Mahogany. The Mahogany was $300 a 1000 at the time. I built a series of Mahogany projects over the few years and the price double for each project. All construction was tongue and grooved or dowels with No screws anywhere. The finish was 3 coats of shellac and 3 coats of varnish after a coat of light oak wood stain to reduce some of the red. The two end table are still in use today, 39 years later.

Nice end tables, great build. I like the breadbox shape, nifty.

Great job on creating beautiful and unique end tables. The should last for a hundred more years.
