THIS SCROLL SAW EAGLE WAS MADE WITH THE SAME METHOD POSTED BEFORE. NO PAINT WAS USED TO FINISH. CUT FROM 1/4 ” BASS WOOD. EACH PIECE HAND CARVED AND SANDED TO BRING OUT TEXTURE OF FEATHERS, THEN BURNED WITH PENCIL TORCH AND GLUED TOGETHER AND SPRAY FINISHED. EYE IS HALF A WOODEN WALNUT BEAD. AS YOU CAN SEE, YOU DON’T WANT TO DISPLAY THESE WHERE THEY ARE VIEWED FROM FRONT OR BACK.(REALLY UGLEY!!) BEST TO DISPLAY AT EYE LEVEL.

Flattery gets us nowhere.

Once you know me you will understand I am really critical. Hopefully in a positive way,

Have you sold any pieces?

Going out to clean and organize my shop for a few hours…all I can tolerate… LOL

I’VE SOLD SOME GOURDS I’VE DONE, SOME JEWELRY, A FEW SMALL CARVINGS, BUT NONE OF THE STACKED SCROLL SAW ANIMALS. NO ONE WILL PAY FOR WEEKS OF WORK. I’LL JUST ENJOY THEM, AND LEAVE THEM TO THE GRANDDAUGHTERS. YOU CAN PROBABLY PICK THEM UP AT GOODWILL IN A FEW YEARS. LOL

Back for a break…

These are fine heirlooms, and I wonder if you have compared the costs at a gallery? You have enough for a show.

guess you don’t know your own talent…LOL!

Back to cleaning the shop…..Garr!
