I made this wishing well for my wedding this summer. I thought it would be fun to try an octagon. It was a pain all the way through and really slowed all of the steps down. However, it was a very good learning experience and it turned out pretty nice. It has since been shingled and protected with an outdoor sealant.

Great design on this. Your post timing is perfect for me, my sister in law just asked me to make her a wishing well. Thanks for some ideas.

Thanks, it was fun to build and even better when it was done. All of those angles were interesting to cut.

Have your say...
