The start of it all…this was one of my first projects….
The fun part of this one is collecting enough corks (144) to produce one…I think all my family and friends have receieved one of these over the last few years as gifts…
Not much detail, but a great looking project for the cottage…

Great use for the corks. Half the fun is in the consumption of the wine, but I don’t drink that much wine. Any way they could be made from beer cans? :>)

I saw similar inspired projects on our honeymoon to wine country, and I’ve “been gonna” make something as soon as I collected enough. With help from family (over the better part of a decade) I’ve got at least a full grocery bags worth – which should be enough for a small project or two ;)
thanks for rekindling the imagination (drinking a nice glass of sparkling italian red as I type this – another cork for the pile!
