I built this cubby for both of my daughters rooms. Believe it or not it was constructed using just one 4’ X 8’ sheet of birch plywood, a 1×6 x 8 ripped down for the edge banding, a 4×4 sheet of hardboard for the back, and pocket hole joinery.. It holds 6 collapsible totes and the far left side is used for a book shelf.
