Bowl top is tulipwood, stand spindle is American black walnut. Finished with cellulose sanding sealer and briwax.

Very nice job on the candle holder. Too nice for actually using. Gives me a couple more ideas. Thanks for posting.

Turning looks great!

With all due respect, I question the design.
It appears top heavy.
Turning over could be troubling!

Thanks for your kind word. @Atchison32: I think that’s the camera angle. It certainly doesn’t seem top-heavy ‘in the flesh’! Iphone camera isn’t the greatest… nor is my photography ;)
