I spent almost a complete day working on trimming down these to size then all that is left is to assemble the pieces into a masterpiece.

It looks like the 2×4s make up a frame for the plywood to be nailed to- the longer 2×4s go along the long edges of the plywood and the shorter ones go along the ends and one each in the middle of the plywood. After that, I dunno. ?
