Dresser for my wife. Made of rustic (because of the knot holes) cherry and the inlay is walnut. The drawer fronts are false fronts. Its a 5 peice drawer. The dove tails in the drawer fronts are purly for design, they are inset about 1/16th but have no fucntional value. I used a rosewood stain with a water based hardwood floor finish (sprayed). The knot holes are filled with clear epoxy so you can see into them but still have a smooth surface.

Nice work, Love the look of cherry. Interesting detail on the drawer fronts. I like it, never saw them recessed like that or is it just the pic?

NIce! so is that just a design on the draw fronts? The DTs aren’t functional, right?

Sweet build, great looking dresser. Cherry is my wood of choice, but not sure what “rustic” means, reclaimed? Maybe because it has the open knot holes? Just curious.
Thanks for showing.

Fine looking dresser! Cherry is gorgeous, like the knots and the inlays. Will be an heirloom piece for sure.
