Yesterday marked a new beginning! Production finally kicked off in our new shop. Took us about three months, but we re-built our 1894 Summer Kitchen into our Thee Wood Shed shop. During the season, May through October, I work for the largest living history museum in Ohio, Sauder Village. They handed me a pile of photos of boards and had me make a half dozen to bring in for a meeting/authorization. They liked and want them so now its time to produce them to sell in the village.
All of the boards are hardwoods like Oak, Walnut, Hickory and Maple. so a variance of colors. But very simple designs. Four coats of food grade mineral oil.
Just feels good to be working in the new shop!!!
