Superb work on the rebuild of the fine looking desk. This will be enjoyed for many more years.

These desks you make from old pianos/organs are FANTASTIC!

I have acquired an 1871 Estey Organ recently off of Craigslist. It was a refurb that was pushed to the wayside. Fortunate in many ways for me…FREE!, already in parts n’ pieces and partly refurbished. My original thought was to turn it into a nice bench for the foyer, but upon seeing this desk my creativity started flowing! I want to use parts of the organ to complete the desk and use as little outside wood as possible. It’s gonna be a challenge, but I think I can do it! I’m giving myself a year to complete it since I am no avid wood worker. I have few tools and little experience, but for free I am giving it a go!

Have your say...
