Tree Swing Seat

My kids asked me to make them a swing. It was a very simple project to make. I used some 2×10 construction lumber. The seat measures 16” in diameter and is about 1 1/4” thick. I added some clear tubing to the rope to reduce rope burn. The kids really enjoy it. But isn’t that what it’s really all about anyway?

Thanks for looking. Take care.

Really like that swing Doug.
I like the way you did the tubing for the rope and how you attached the bottom as well.

Bet the kids get a lot of fun out of that.

Nice job !

Roger, if my kids are still swinging on that thing when they’re 40 they’ve been living here way to long. LOL!

I built one of these last spring. And can assure you they still love it at 14 years old.
