I made this Crib, dresser, and hutch. This is my Niche and what I really enjoy and take pride in building. I gathered many different ideas from stores, Lumberjock members, and own ideas and created it. Started from rough cut 4/4 poplar from local sawmill. solid 5/8 maple drawers. standard Blum drawer slides. Sherwin williams Black Laquer Finish. Made a mortise jig to router out mortises with 1 3/4 hp crafstman router. The mortises was a task but determination and hard work pays off! Already working on another set. will post more pics soon . Thanks. I love this website

Very nice matching set, great build. The mortise photo (number 5) shows a great deal of detail work, takes a lot of patients and attention to detail. Great work.

very nice set, though I think I would have used this project as an excuse to get a benchtop hollow chisel mortiser…hey hunny its for the baby!
