Just some odds & ends I finished up this week. Sets of drink coasters for my kids, burned with our team logos. Tea light candle holder, design courtesy of our favorite woodworker down under, thanks Degose. Zigzag board and seven small personalized cutting boards for sisters in law

That’s some nice stuff FD. If I’m not mistaken those cutting boards are end grain? how did you keep the Walnut saw dust from contaminating your lighter woods. I just did a Walnut Maple end grain and the finished product looks like I stained it. Any tips would be much appreciated.

Well done. Always great to personalize them.

Hi Mark, The end grain boards are actually cherry, maple, and purpleheart. I have done walnut with maple before and know what you mean about the staining. I solved that problem by always using the shopvac hooked to my ROS, and make sure that as I’m sanding keep as much sawdust off the board, seems to work well.

Great projects! Like the candle holder and the zigzag board, very nice wood colors. They’re great gift ideas.

Love the projects, BUT, your post title reminds me of a bit from the late George Carlin.

On the table I had a bunch of Odds and Ends. One fell off the table. Was it an Odd or and End?
