Red cedar building blocks and toy box for my nephew. Lid is removable so it can be put down on carpet to build on. About 70+ pieces. Built 2 red cedar boxes that couldn’t make it past my quality control. So 3rd one is pine and it made it pass QC.

I’ve wanted to make blocks for my niece and nephews, but I was never quite sure how many to make and of what shape.

It’s a lot of cutting. I just made it up the shapes and maximized material and tried to minimize cuts. I used a hole saw for the wheels. The outer of the wheels are the arched blocks. One good evening of layout and cutting. The box (boxes) however seemed to take me a long time.
