No, I haven’t been slackin, although, to me, it seems that way… Don’t know where the time goes. Anyhoo, ....These are some pens I’ve been makin in-between the crib building project. I made them for a friend that has a shop in downtown Louisville, in hopes of selling a few to some Kentucky Derby spectators while in town. I know there are a lot of acrylics, but, that’s what the “doctor” ordered…. lol There is a few nice wood blanks here as well. Bicote, Redheart, Cocobolo. Thnx any comments, good/bad/ugly.. Appreciate for the looks. I hope to get back on the crib soon, before my Grndson graduates high school….

Wow, they look beautiful, Roger! Really nice work on them! I hope they sell a lot! Yes – that is always my biggest complaint – that time goes by much too quickly! It is good to see that you are using every minute and doing things you love for people you love. How satisfying that must be! Great group of work, Roger! Keep on keepin’ on! ;))

Lookin’ good—definitely like the wood best. BTW, I’m taking one of your burl pens to Tulsa to give a friend this weekend.

Very, very nice, I don’t know which would be my favorite! They should sell quickly.
While I’m thinking of it…...I was wondering if you have ever turned any pens for people with arthritis? Hubby met a guy at Dr office today that has to have a pen with a 3/4” – 1” bottom barrel. He said that is the only way he is able to use a pen. Hubby told him to go online to look for a pen turner who could do it for him. Just wondered if you are aware of a turner who makes pens for arthritics.
Thanks

Those are nice Roger.
I’ve been looking at the bolt action bullet kits like the ones on the pens in the last photo.
I really like those but just haven’t made up my mind to order any yet.
I want to get better before sinking money into higher priced kits, so I’ve been sticking with the cheaper slim line kits for now.
