I probably should have blogged about this build. Seems that I’m always getting questions about how to go about above ground pool decks. This was my largest surround deck (the pool is 24’ in diameter). Built out of pressure treated lumber, and it took me about 50 hours (with help, of course).

very sharp but the way the weather is going around here it will be august before warm enough to use it lol

Looks very good, a shot of the sub-deck would have pretty much explained how you did it.

Nice work! Jim has a good point! People that want to use your knowledge would love to see the structure under the decking. It could be a huge help of them. Pictures are like gold on LJ’s.
I know how labor intensive this can be after building a few myself. PT wood is very heavy and it’s not just about doping out the build, but moving all that lumber is exhausting!
The deck looks really good!
