Pine Box

Project by Skee posted 524 days ago 344 views 0 times favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Built a pine box for the porch. Used carsiding for the panels.

Simply made 4 panels and then put them together with a dado in the back of the front, and the front of the back.

Used a 15 degree slant for the panel pieces.

The pictures are before finishing, and the top still needed a good deal of planing.

Looks nice. What will the finish be?

Planning to prime and paint it for outdoor usage (okay, on a porch, but still exposed).

I’ll probably put it in the garage for the winter, to keep the snow off it.
