This charming clock is carved with roses and has storage inside. This clock is built using the glue, screw, and cap method which makes it simple to assemble. The carving is done with a hand held rotary tool that makes it easy and fun for the average craftsperson to carve all elements in an afternoon. Beautiful furniture, made simple.

This is absolutely beautiful. What type of wood is this?
Also, welcome to LJ’s, you’ll love it here.

I build all my furniture with pine because it carves well with a hand held rotary tool. This clock is stained Pecan from Circa 1850. I also love the smell of fresh cut wood, and just looking at a nice big stack of pine, makes my day.

For you the carving is simple, for me they probably wouldn’t look like flowers.

Another nice project.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.
