This butcher block or island is just the right size for most kitchens. This island is built using the glue, screw and cap method, so it can be built in a weekend or two. She features optional roses carved with a hand held rotary tool, a fun and easy way to carve. She has two large drawers that slide open by the front or back. She has a towel bar on one side and room on the other side for hooks. Beautiful furniture, made simple.

I really like your furniture. It has an honest, homey 1930s feel to it.

Very pretty island, like the design, color and the antique look. Outstanding work!

I’m happy I checked your projects. Inspiration for works that suit my sensibilities. Some really nice pieces.

This one in particular, has such lovely roses carved in and I would love to attempt something similar.
