Band Saw Box with Two Drawers

March, 2013 – I’m not sure what kind of wood this is. It might be Norfolk Island Pine. We got it from a tree that had been cut down. The first tool I used was a chain saw!

Has multiple coats of water-based poly satin, brushed on. On this one I decided to put holes in the back to push out the drawers, rather than mar the beauty of the front with knobs. The Ajax can shown for scale.

I think you made a wise choice using holes instead of knobs. This look good. Makes the Ajax can look small.

Art, that wood is AWESOME.
I love that design, but wondered how the drawers opened until I read the post. Duh!!!

That is a lovely band saw box! Amazing work on that. The wood looks great! Nicely executed.
