I never have enough light on my band saw so I made this magnetic light base for my band saw. The light came from IKEA and the magnet came from ACE Hardware. Thanks to Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns for the Plans. The base is maple and cherry.

Great build. I have seen something like this before, but I like yours much better.

Nice job! I done something similar to this but I used the lamp holders from a 3 light pole lamp and I permanently mounted a light to my scroll saw and drill press also.

Cool idea! Like the shape of the base and the beautiful wood choice. Great job!
