black walnut bowl

One of several black walnut bowls that I have turned in the past few weeks.
Got this wood from a friend that is kind enough to give me wood from time to time.
Never did get the finish I wanted on this bowl so it may go back for some more work before it gets a home.
Thanks for looking

Nice bowl Tom, from what I can see on the photographs the finish looks fine to me. Nice to have friends who will give you pieces of timber like that. What drying process did you use?
