I had put this blank together prior to building my daughter's table. I thought I’d finally take some time and turn it to see how it would look. It’s the same basic concepts as what I’ve done before. I cut my segments at 22.5 degrees rather than 30 degrees and I worked with a little more uniform thickness on my stock this time around.

I’m pretty happy with how it came out.

Beautiful pen Daryl. You really have this technique down. What are the woods in this one…walnut & jatoba?...or maybe bubinga?
